Dr. Amit Vij has done his M.D. in Dermatology, Venereology & Leprology. He worked as a Senior Resident at the Department of Dermatology & STD at University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) Medical College and Guru Teg Bahadur (GTB) Hospital, Delhi for a period of 3 years.

He is still known for his involvement in various academic activities and undergraduate, post-graduate, and nursing teaching programmes. He regularly attends conferences and CMEs (Continuing Medical Education). Being a part of the organizing committee for these, his involvement is consistent and has been increasing with time.

He was also a part of the live telecast of the Dermatology teaching module for DNB students through IGNOU. Dr. Amit Vij is a life-time member of several prestigious dermatology organizations including:

• Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists (IADVL)
• Indian Society for Paediatric Dermatology
• International Society of Dermatology
• Contact and Occupational Dermatoses Forum of India (CODFI)
• Association of Cutaneous Surgeons of India (ACSI)

He has various publications in national and international journals and has been trained in performing a wide range of dermato-surgical and cosmetology procedures at UCMS Medical College and through workshops at various centres.
