Dr. Rachna Singh completed her M.B.B.S. and Diploma in Clinical Pathology (D.C.P.) from Government Medical College, Aurangabad, Maharashtra, in 1996. She currently serves as the Head of the Department of Laboratory Services and Blood Centre at the National Heart Institute.

With over 25 years of leadership experience in clinical diagnostics, laboratory operations, blood centre management, and healthcare administration, Dr. Rachna Singh is recognized for driving operational excellence and delivering high-quality patient care. She has extensive expertise in process optimization, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, procurement and vendor management, budget planning, and workforce development.

Dr. Rachna Singh has played a pivotal role in implementing and maintaining quality standards, with significant experience in NABL, NABH and CAP accreditation. Skilled at leading multidisciplinary teams, strengthening laboratory governance, and advancing digital transformation.
